Issued in a 1,000-piece worldwide limited edition, the Bentley GMT Midnight Carbon is distinguished by its case and bezel made from black steel created using an ultra-resistant carbon-based treatment, teamed with a dial and rubber strap in the same colour – an original and powerful livery that highlights its original design featuring asymmetrical lugs. This chronograph with a nomadic soul is equipped with a generous knurled bezel reminiscent of Bentley control buttons and totalizer rims inspired by the dashboards of the finest British automobiles. It is powered by Calibre 47B, an exclusive dual timezone movement. The second independent hour hand, combined with a 24-hour graduation, enables instant reading of all timezones, symbolised by the world’s great cities. The selfwinding movement, entirely assembled in the Breitling Chronométrie workshops and chronometer-certified by the COSC, comprises an unusual “30-second chronograph” system with a central hand sweeping around the dial in half a minute instead of the usual 60 seconds – thus enabling readings accurate to within 1/8th of a second.
